Yes, you have the possibility to define additional absence reasons to our already predefined ones (vacation, sickness, overtime and others). Of course, you can also edit or even delete the default reasons in shyftplan, if you use completely different names.

To create the new reasons, go to the company profile, click on the plus symbol next to the absence reasons and enter the necessary information. As soon as you have entered the new reason, e.g. "maternity leave" or "child sick" in the company profile, it can be selected for every new absence created by you or your employees.
