Absence requests can be displayed with different status types in shyftplan. These states have the following meaning:

  • New: If a leave request has been created and has not yet been processed by a manager, it has the status "New". You as the manager can now decide whether to accept or reject this request.

  • Accepted: If you accept the leave request, it will be given the status "Accepted" and the employee will be notified by email.

  • Refused: If you reject the leave request, it is given the status "Refused" and the employee is notified by email. If you reject the request, you can also attach a message to the employee explaining the reason for the rejection.

  • Withdrawn: If you have set in the company profile that employees can withdraw their requests, an absence will get this status, provided that the employee withdraws the request in time.
